CEFTA AND SERBIA’S ACCESSION TO THE EU

Abstract

CEFTA implies economic relation among Member States that is based on Free Trade Agreement. In that sense, this form of regional cooperation is significant as a kind of preparations for the EU accession. This paper focuses particularly on the importance of Serbia’s membership in CEFTA, which is the best illustrated by the fact that Serbia has a surplus in trade exchange with the Member States of this aforementioned economic integration.
